With this free Bocad macro a timber carport is created, which is fixed on one side to a house wall. The input parameters are explained in the video and in the help pictures. This macro shows very well how construction processes, which are at least similar in principle, can be implemented parameterized. So one has done all different variants of a basic type with one macro. Investing in a dynamic macro is always worthwhile.

This Bocad macro creates a welded end connection which can optionally be provided with a stiffener. The width and thickness of the stiffener are automatically determined. The user enters rounding values for this purpose. A main beam and any number of secondary beams are picked.

This macro creates a baseplate with a slotted hole to an existing column. The user picks one or more columns and a reference point for the lower edge of the plate. Optionally, a displacement value to the reference point can be entered.

This macro creates an endplate on one or more existing beams. The user picks a concrete part and then the beams. The offsets of the plate over the beams are separately adjustable. The bolt patterns are optionally available without bolts, as corner bolts (only 4 bolts) or additionally with bolts in the middle of the edges (+ 4 bolts).

This macro generates a profile member over its own diagonal. This is not only very helpful for truss construction and saves time. The user simply picks 2 points in a plane. The type of diagonal can be set in the dialog.

This macro creates whole blocks of phases in one go. The phases consist of number, name and responsible person. The blocks are defined in an Excel file and a readable csv file is created at the push of a button. The user has to pick any part in the model to execute the macro. Then the phase must be changed once via the menu to be able to see all phases in the selection list.
